I am enjoying myself with garageband for hours now.

and I had to post this because it gives me shivers

So she went back home

I'm writing songs again! I think I found two people who I totally connect with, on all sorts of levels. Tuesday we went jamming at this loft full of old organs and 60s amps. We enjoyed ourselves for hours..and I really think that this could be my next band! Ofcourse I have met more wonderful people past weeks, but I had to make a decision and I think I made mine.

I will post some songs up as soon as possible.

Also my new school term starts in two weeks. I am totally prepared this time, trying to really make the best out of it. I am meeting up with old friends again and supporting my boyfriend who has an incredible photo exhibition in Groningen this weekend at Eurosonic. Here are some examples of his photography:

Ofcourse, we all buy Cd's

and records. And we never download albums, no we do not. Because we musicians understand how hard it is, the music world of 2010.

Well to be honest I don't have enough money for anything so I am just sharing the best soundtrack of the moment by giving you this link. (yes I am not clever on these things, I just give you the link. I don't know how to give you the tracks straight away)

Karen O and the kids make me so happy. Especially the cover of Daniel Johnston's Worried shoes. I haven't seen the movie because its not released here yet..but as soon as it will, I will run to the cinema. Yes that is what I am going to do.

I love stories that show you how much we 'adults' take ourselves too seriously. I am not a grownup yet and not planning to be that for a long while.

Studying

which usually turns out in writing songs. I wrote three new songs recently. They were all quite sad for some reason. Although they make me happy in a strange way. I wrote them on my own, for myself and I hope for my new band as well.

Studying means also stumbling through the Net looking for great artists.

Yes, the third new years eve on my favorite rooftop was another succes. Great bands, music, people, fireworks, and too much champagne. And while I'm at my parents place at the moment, recovering in pyama's, I am looking back at last night through pictures of my Willem Vrederick.


























And then I had to leave because I looked (and acted) like a ghost.




It was the best party. the best night. 2010 is going to be a good one..I can feel it.
